Graduate Coursework: Learning, Design & Technology
My experience as an educator, program manager and curriculum designer brought me to the Learning, Design & Technology Master's program at Stanford University. I started the program seeking to explore how to connect student learning in informal spaces back to the classroom. However, throughout the course of the year I refocused on what it is about informal education spaces themselves that engages and interests students.
Areas of Focus
- Program evaluation and how it might be more seamlessly integrated into informal education environments
- Utilization of social media to enhance informal learning
- Identity and interest development
- Impact of place on learning in informal environments
